Dang, it's been almost 3 months since I posted. YIPES.

Here's just a little piece of something for ya. Enjoy and don't you dare steal. :) (If you do...well..we shall discuss it at a later date.)

I had strayed far

When I first met you;

I close my eyes

And I hear your voice

I'm sitting there,

Far away in the foul air,

I see the world,

Its enchanting draw,

I hear you calling me,

Against the tide

To call my name,

I froze in my shame,

You are the Lord

And you are drawing me to you,

The world said,
"Stay away from Jesus Christ,"

Yet I was clinging to your arms,

Begging, "Please don't make me go."

And you said, "Come with me, child of mine,

You never have to be alone.

I will save you

From this wretched prison cell,

You are mine and

I am yours so

Come with me, now, please

Child of mine, just say yes."

Well, I resisted, thinking that you would

Take me from all that I loved,

And I closed my eyes,

Hiding from your face.

But you were persistent,

You followed me anyway,

Chasing me away from the

World full of lies,

And I fell to my face saying

"Please just let me go!"

And you said, "Child of mine, I love you

How can I just let you go?
I paid the price

And bought you back from me,

You are mine and
I am yours so

Come with me, now, please

Child of mine, just say yes."

I said, "I can't, Lord,

I don't know just what to do,

I want you but
I want the world, too,

Don't you understand that

I've got a dream to gain,

Can't you come back later,

I just can't say yes."

I got tired of waiting,

Wondering if you would ever call my name,

My faith in you was fading,

When I finally sought you out, saying

"Jesus, I need you, please won't you hear me say,
 I love you and never wanna let you go,

Please take my service now,

I can't let go."

He swept me in his arms and

Held me close, saying,

"Child of mine, I have come

Never will I let you go!
You're in my arms now,
I will carry you from here!

You are mine and

I am yours so

Come with me, now, please

Child of mine, just have peace!"
